Just wanted to let you know that we have received our Elizabeth dress, and it has exceeded our very high expectations. Even my wedding gown cannot equal the magnificent detail and beauty of my daughter's dress. The fit is flawless, and the fabric is positively luminous! Amelia told her grandmother, "Oh Nana, it's even prettier than I had hoped," high praise from a seven year old who prefers to be "more cool than pretty." I am an indecisive type, and I worried constantly about having made the "right choice" for my only bridesmaid's dress; I no longer have any reservations. No dress could have been more beautiful or appropriate for Amelia's style of beauty (she is a platinum blond with dark blue eyes). This dress will be used twice this year, as she will be making her First Communion in the Spring.
